Listening Journal September 3- Claude Debussy Golliwog's Cakewalk

As a child, Debussy really liked art.  He grew up during the "Impressionist" art period which was made using dots of paint, or different colours to create an impression of what the artist was painting.  As he grew, Debussy used this influence in his compositions!  

The time period Debussy wrote music was called the "Romantic" time period.  One of his most famous pieces of music is below - Golliwog's Cakewalk.  Chenyin Li is the performer
